December 2005: Cementos La Parrilla obtains ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates. The products manufactured by Cementos la Parrilla comply with the regulation in relation to the chrome content. This question had been considered before it became a legal requirement, as Cementos la Parrilla is concerned about offering cement that respects the health of our workers and clients. Cementos La Parrilla sponsors Valladolid Handball team whose more recent list of victories is being champion of the Asobal-2003 cup and champion of the King-2005 Cup. Besides their trainer: Juan Carlos Pastor, has been world champion with the national Spanish team and he is the present national team manager. Cementos La Parrilla collaborates with the football teams “Sports Club Tudela” from Tudela de Duero and with the team from La Parrilla. Cementos La Parrilla has increased its range of products: in the month of February AENOR has been awarded a CE approval certificate from the CEMI 42,5 R. This cement is mainly used for the production of concrete in mass and reinforced concrete where we search for an initial resistance bigger than the normal one.It is also used for pre-stressed concrete. Cementos La Parrilla has brought into service two new vehicles weigh scales to be used at the entrance of raw materials.
